Favorite Snack: Taco Flavored Cauliflower

When it's cold out, and a lot of my favorite foods are out of season, I love to get some good (and cheap) heads of cauliflower. It takes just a couple of minutes to chop it up, toss it in a bowl with some vegan taco seasoning, and roast. One medium head of cauliflower usually fits perfectly onto my toaster oven's baking sheet, and it take about 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees F.

And it helps me check cruciferous veggies off my list. Cruciferous veggies are some of the healthiest veggies you can eat. They're great for your liver and are a great anti-cancer food, plus a lot more. I like to eat at least one serving a day.

Cauliflower
Broccoli
Kale
Cabbage
Brussels Sprouts
Bok Choy
Rutabaga
Radish
